28/09/2008 - Annual Budo course

Last year 22 of shiro-no-zen’s finest travelled to Nottingham to take part in the annual Christmas Budo course we all had a fantastic time there were some old favourite tried by our enthusiastic players and one or two new arts being tried for the first time We had a surprise when Andrew Millard chose two of our blue belts to grade there and then to Brown as he said they were exceptional at their grade well done to Daniel and Lee for making us all very proud. This years course will be held on 29th and 30th of November for deatails and to book see George and Neil Hotel will as usual be booked through Phil our thanks go out to him for his time and effort

06/10/2007 - The Mayor of Bury

On Saturday the 6th October the mosses Centre had its 2007 open day The Mayor of Bury opened the proceedings watching demonstrations of some of the activities that take place in the centre. He ended his visit enjoying a impressive demonstration from some of the shiro-no zen kids who he then requested to be photographed with as a token of appreciation

Shiro-no zen judo are looking to raise funds in order to purchase new Equipment any ideas for fund raising events or activities would be welcome please forward to our email address or George or Neil. so members and members parents if you need football cards to sell just ask george or neil and we will provide, but any other method you can think of would be fantastic (as long as it is legal) remember we are a none profit organisation we need you!
